In the 4th minute Ralf Allgöwer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joar Scheie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CAN ERZURUM's Joar Scheie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Montes in the 4th minute of play. If Sven-Olof Vestlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Giorgio March got control of the ball when Sven-Olof Vestlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 13 played minutes CAN ERZURUM got a freekick which was hit by Birkan Kayra. 15 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goal looked a bit too open when Pol Petton came free, but Joar Scheie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pol Petton in the 20th minute of play forced CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Joar Scheie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Montay Pena got a throw-in 25 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Pol Petton. With a little luck, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Giorgio March got control of the ball when Sven-Olof Vestlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sven-Olof Vestlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Giorgio March made a huge save. 27 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Montes came free, but Joar Scheie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joar Scheie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pol Petton in the 31st minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Sven-Olof Vestlund notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Giorgio March. Giorgio March was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joar Scheie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pol Petton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Aybars Demirci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jairo Montes to make the kick off. Pan Wei Quan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giorgio March read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. When Ralf Allgöwer came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralf Allgöwer couldn't finish the play. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 made a substitution. Alvar Llinares replaced Manuel Lopez de Toro. Birkan Kayra hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Indar Albizua was substituted for Jairo Montes. The supporters of C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 booed when CAN ERZURUM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birkan Kayra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pan Wei Quan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giorgio March was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of CAN ERZURUM booed when C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Nafría didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see CAN ERZURUM's Jacek Krzynowek in action when he in the 97th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! CAN ERZURUM's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
