The audience was convinced that Christian Almkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Benvido was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Clemente Benvido didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Almkvist went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Aristides Villanueva came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Giorgio March could save by the left post. Gigel Iuonaș was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Almkvist in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Benvido saved Canalla Fuego from getting behind. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Santiago Nafría quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Niceto Ponte, made in the 21st minute of the game. Clemente Benvido didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Almkvist went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 32nd minute Christian Almkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Benvido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Almkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Canalla Fuego's Carlos Aimar was substituted for Aristides Villanueva. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricky Kalischer made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Christian Almkvist made a precise shot to the right of Clemente Benvido. Canalla Fuego's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Almkvist in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemente Benvido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christian Almkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clemente Benvido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Almkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Niceto Ponte was shown his second yellow card after 66 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Niceto Ponte hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Alvar Llinares was substituted for Manuel Lopez de Toro. The supporters of C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 booed when Canalla Fuego was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Ponte didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79thth minute of the game Jairo Montes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canalla Fuego's Clemente Benvido was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Clemente Benvido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Montes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jairo Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 82 minutes into the match, Canalla Fuego's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Montes came free, but Clemente Benvido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemente Benvido didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jairo Montes went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Jairo Montes might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clemente Benvido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jairo Montes ran back to his position shaking his head. Jairo Montes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Clemente Benvido made a huge save. After 94 played minutes Jairo Montes rounded Canalla Fuego's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-7. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
