In the 15th minute, CAN ERZURUM's Sven-Olof Vestlund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hüsnü Rıza. Hüsnü Rıza yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natã Ribeiro during the 18th minute. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hüsnü Rıza. In the 30th minute, Sven-Olof Vestlund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hüsnü Rıza was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 35 minutes into the match, Sven-Olof Vestlund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hüsnü Rıza, 6-0. 40 minutes into the game, CAN ERZURUM's Sven-Olof Vestlund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hüsnü Rıza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. In the 43rd minute, CAN ERZURUM's Mehmet Şefik Karadağ ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hüsnü Rıza. CAN ERZURUM's Joar Scheie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curcio Borrero in the 47th minute of play. Joar Scheie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curcio Borrero in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yaser Mirkelam to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in The JOKER's zone, Sven-Olof Vestlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hüsnü Rıza came out of the goal and Sven-Olof Vestlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Sven-Olof Vestlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hüsnü Rıza was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. CAN ERZURUM's Sven-Olof Vestlund managed to work through The JOKER's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Sven-Olof Vestlund dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 57 minutes into the game, CAN ERZURUM's Sven-Olof Vestlund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hüsnü Rıza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Sven-Olof Vestlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hüsnü Rıza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Olof Vestlund ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 72nd match minute, The JOKER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. Mehmet Şefik Karadağ shot a long shot in the 72nd minute and a light blocked Hüsnü Rıza hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 10-0. If Sven-Olof Vestlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tekin Aliyar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joar Scheie firmly grabbed it by the left post. CAN ERZURUM's Charles Puyol was substituted for Rolando Betadur. Hüsnü Rıza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 11-1 was the resulting score. CAN ERZURUM made a substitution. Atabek Tecimen replaced Sven-Olof Vestlund. CAN ERZURUM's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
