An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 13th minute of play forced Arrows Academy FC's goalkeeper Ged Nightingale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Virgiawan Laturua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso da Cunha in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ged Nightingale saved Arrows Academy FC from getting behind. David Brás hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ged Nightingale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Virgiawan Laturua came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgiawan Laturua couldn't finish the play. Ged Nightingale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan Barron in the 40th minute of play forced CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ludomil Ziomkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arrows Academy FC's Ged Nightingale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 45th minute of play. Ludomil Ziomkowski made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Marty Simpson sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marty Simpson to strike the kick off in the second half. Ludomil Ziomkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marty Simpson in the 56th minute of play. Ged Nightingale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 58th minute of play. Ludomil Ziomkowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marty Simpson's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. The audience was convinced that Marty Simpson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ludomil Ziomkowski was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. After having played for 60 minutes, Afonso da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso da Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ludomil Ziomkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryan Barron in the 66th minute of the match. In the 74th minute Afonso da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ged Nightingale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso da Cunha took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ged Nightingale. Ged Nightingale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein was substituted for Emanuele Bertoni. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ made a substitution. Breno Torres replaced Virgiawan Laturua. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Marty Simpson put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ludomil Ziomkowski. 86 minutes into the match, Arrows Academy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein came free, but Ged Nightingale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein got free with Ged Nightingale in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ludomil Ziomkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryan Barron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
