Spectators: 155 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ryszard Pilipiec kicked off to start the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Pogoń Stawiszyn's Ryszard Pilipiec slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ludomil Ziomkowski. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. In the 6th minute Afonso da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Podolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Afonso da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 10 minutes into the match, Pogoń Stawiszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso da Cunha came free, but Gilbert Podolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afonso da Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilbert Podolski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afonso da Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 12th minute Afonso da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Podolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilbert Podolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Afonso da Cunha notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pogoń Stawiszyn's Gilbert Podolski. Gilbert Podolski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ludomil Ziomkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Pilipiec in the 20th minute of the match. Afonso da Cunha hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Ludomil Ziomkowski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The corner led Pogoń Stawiszyn's Radoslaw Trojanowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Ludomil Ziomkowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Ludomil Ziomkowski got control of the ball when Kazimierz Dylla tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Afonso da Cunha made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilbert Podolski was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ booed when Pogoń Stawiszyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radoslaw Trojanowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Pilipiec in the 37th minute of play forced CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ludomil Ziomkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the game, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Afonso da Cunha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilbert Podolski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Ludomil Ziomkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radoslaw Trojanowski in the 41st minute of play. Gilbert Podolski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afonso da Cunha's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Afonso da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonso da Cunha to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Afonso da Cunha notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Pogoń Stawiszyn's Gilbert Podolski. Gilbert Podolski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gilbert Podolski came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Afonso da Cunha. But to his dismay, Afonso da Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Ludomil Ziomkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazimierz Dylla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Afonso da Cunha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein was substituted for Emanuele Bertoni. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ made a substitution. Zhou Wei Fan replaced David Brás. Afonso da Cunha had several of the Pogoń Stawiszyn's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 74 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-8 score and a disappointed Gilbert Podolski as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to Pogoń Stawiszyn getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Jacek Kolbe hit a great ball. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Gilbert Podolski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Pogoń Stawiszyn from getting a goal against them. Afonso da Cunha in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gilbert Podolski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 84th minute Ryszard Pilipiec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Ziomkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludomil Ziomkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryszard Pilipiec, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Afonso da Cunha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Gilbert Podolski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Gilbert Podolski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 1-9 when Afonso da Cunha sped through Pogoń Stawiszyn's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gilbert Podolski.
