In the 9th minute, Afonso da Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ged Nightingale was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ludomil Ziomkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marty Simpson in the 12th minute of the match. Ludomil Ziomkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marty Simpson, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 26th minute of play forced Arrows Academy FC's goalkeeper Ged Nightingale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan Barron in the 27th minute of play forced CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ludomil Ziomkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Afonso da Cunha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ged Nightingale, 2-1. Ludomil Ziomkowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marty Simpson's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Ludomil Ziomkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marty Simpson in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Afonso da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso da Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ged Nightingale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Enekoitz came free, but Ludomil Ziomkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Ged Nightingale came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Xande Campbell. But to his dismay, Xande Campbell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 57 minutes into the game, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Afonso da Cunha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ged Nightingale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 66th match minute, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuele Bertoni to maneuver through the defense. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Zhou Wei Fan was substituted for David Brás. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein was substituted for Emanuele Bertoni. After 67 played minutes CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Emanuele Bertoni. If Fabricio Enekoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. A hard shot 84 in the game by Grzegorz Piechna from a close distance when the talented Ludomil Ziomkowski managed to make a qualified save. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Arrows Academy FC's Fabricio Enekoitz got a free kick in the 88th minute. Ged Nightingale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ged Nightingale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Arrows Academy FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
