The corner was taken by Radoslaw Trojanowski in the 6th minute. It was a well-played corner which Witold Gibowski managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Fabricio Enekoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arrows Academy FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabricio Enekoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilbert Podolski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marty Simpson in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilbert Podolski saved Pogoń Stawiszyn from getting behind. Gilbert Podolski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marty Simpson's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marty Simpson in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilbert Podolski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute Fabricio Enekoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Podolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilbert Podolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Connor Pringle, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute of the match Arrows Academy FC got a corner. Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guy Hogg ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Arrows Academy FC's corner Guy Hogg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gilbert Podolski quite easily take care of the ball. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Marty Simpson sped through Pogoń Stawiszyn's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gilbert Podolski. 30 minutes into the match, Pogoń Stawiszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Marty Simpson came free, but Gilbert Podolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arrows Academy FC's Ged Nightingale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Pilipiec in the 35th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Kazimierz Dylla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilbert Podolski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marty Simpson's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Marty Simpson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gilbert Podolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Marty Simpson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilbert Podolski was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 42nd minute, Marty Simpson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arrows Academy FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 51st minute, Marty Simpson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arrows Academy FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. With a little luck, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Gilbert Podolski got control of the ball when Grzegorz Piechna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gilbert Podolski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marty Simpson in the 58th minute. Marty Simpson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Gilbert Podolski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 95th minute, Marty Simpson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arrows Academy FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Arrows Academy FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
