The Tasso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anton Ekblom should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Seggiano's zone, Severiano Torcato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Colecchia came out of the goal and Severiano Torcato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the game, Miguel Sequeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Eugenio Colecchia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 16th minute Sebastián Coates shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Colecchia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Markus Van Bombergen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes Tasso FC got a freekick which was hit by Brazilio Tasso. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniele Massaro got free with Anton Ekblom in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Tasso FC's Anton Ekblom got control of the ball when Daniele Massaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Daniele Massaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniele Massaro in the 35th minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Anton Ekblom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Tasso FC booed when Seggiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guntis Pakuls didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Severiano Torcato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tasso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Torcato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anton Ekblom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Falcone, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guntis Pakuls got free with Anton Ekblom in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Tasso FC's Silverio Corderun got a free kick in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastián Coates to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Daniele Massaro put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Anton Ekblom. Daniele Massaro succeeded in the game's 55th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. Eugenio Colecchia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastián Coates, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. With a little luck, Seggiano's Eugenio Colecchia got control of the ball when Brazilio Tasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Seggiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessio Nola to maneuver through the defense. Seggiano's Alfred Klawki was substituted for Daniele Massaro. A collision led to Tasso FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Silverio Corderun hit a great ball. Alfred Klawki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anton Ekblom having to make a save. 74 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Klawki came free, but Anton Ekblom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastián Coates in the 75th minute of play forced Seggiano's goalkeeper Eugenio Colecchia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Alfred Klawki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Ekblom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Klawki came free, but Anton Ekblom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Ekblom came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Seggiano's Alfred Klawki. But to his dismay, Alfred Klawki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The Seggiano fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Seggiano's Alfred Klawki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Seggiano's Eugenio Colecchia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastián Coates in the 96th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Seggiano were victorious despite being under pressure from Tasso FC for much of the match.
