If Wilfredo Gitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 played minutes Club Puerto Quito got a freekick which was hit by Zadornin Sereno. Wilfredo Gitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Precioso having to interfere. Wilfredo Gitano scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauricio Precioso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valko De Hond in the 30th minute of play forced Club Puerto Quito's goalkeeper Mauricio Precioso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Jarana FC's Wilfredo Gitano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauricio Precioso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Puerto Quito's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yang Yao Kuan was slow to take the kick. During this time Jarana FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Yang Yao Kuan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Puerto Quito's Mauricio Precioso did a great save. With a little luck, Jarana FC's Tadeo Distiratsu got control of the ball when Enzo Gallardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Puerto Quito's Zadornin Sereno got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilfredo Gitano to strike the kick off in the second half. Wilfredo Gitano took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauricio Precioso. The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Gitano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauricio Precioso was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the match, Club Puerto Quito's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Gitano came free, but Mauricio Precioso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauricio Precioso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Gitano in the 83rd minute of play. Wilfredo Gitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
