Ayoví Costoya started the match with the kick off. A collision led to ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞ getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Frederico Rocha hit a great ball. The Club Puerto Quito fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Club Puerto Quito's Rufino Giron looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 7th minute Ayoví Costoya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10thth minute of the game Ayoví Costoya who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞'s Túlio Simão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Túlio Simão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ayoví Costoya, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Ulysses Cosme hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Club Puerto Quito's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Carlos das Neves came free, but Mauricio Precioso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frederico Rocha during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Rufino Giron kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞'s goal looked a bit too open when Ayoví Costoya came free, but Túlio Simão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Rufino Giron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rufino Giron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Túlio Simão was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. After 40 played minutes ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞ got a freekick which was hit by Ulysses Cosme. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ayoví Costoya in the 41st minute of play forced ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞'s goalkeeper Túlio Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rufino Giron struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Túlio Simão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Puerto Quito. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antônio Carlos das Neves to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞'s zone, Diego Narbona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Túlio Simão came out of the goal and Diego Narbona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Túlio Simão was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Ayoví Costoya capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ayoví Costoya really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Ayoví Costoya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Túlio Simão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Ayoví Costoya came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Túlio Simão could save by the left post. Matías Britto took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauricio Precioso. Mauricio Precioso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Rufino Giron scored 1-4 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Túlio Simão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mauricio Precioso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Britto in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Club Puerto Quito's Rufino Giron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Túlio Simão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ayoví Costoya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞ getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ulysses Cosme hit a great ball. Rufino Giron was extremely unlucky when he, in the 89th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Carlos das Neves in the 93rd minute of play forced Club Puerto Quito's goalkeeper Mauricio Precioso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Puerto Quito made a substitution. Urki Espino replaced Ayoví Costoya. ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞'s Josué Prata was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mauricio Precioso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Club Puerto Quito's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
