Waldir Urbano was slow to take the kick. During this time Tasso FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Tasso FC's Waldir Urbano to fire away a dangerous shot which Mauricio Precioso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rufino Giron scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silverio Corderun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mauricio Precioso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Normando Fiúza, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Santiago Huemen struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Silverio Corderun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Puerto Quito. Mauricio Precioso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Urbano, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st match minute, Tasso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berkin Dilsafa to maneuver through the defense. Silverio Corderun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ayoví Costoya in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Puerto Quito's goalkeeper Mauricio Precioso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 26 minutes, Waldir Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tasso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldir Urbano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Club Puerto Quito's goal looked a bit too open when Waldir Urbano came free, but Mauricio Precioso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Normando Fiúza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Precioso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldir Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Urbano in the 39th minute of play forced Club Puerto Quito's goalkeeper Mauricio Precioso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauricio Precioso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Urbano in the 52nd minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, Club Puerto Quito's goal looked a bit too open when Waldir Urbano came free, but Mauricio Precioso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. That made the score 1-2 after 61 minutes of play. 65 minutes into the game, Waldir Urbano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Mauricio Precioso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th minute of the match, Normando Fiúza got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mauricio Precioso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Conrado Leo kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Club Puerto Quito got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Leo. Silverio Corderun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ayoví Costoya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
