Spectators: 184 (Terracing: 139, Seating: 42, VIP seats: 3) Grentino FC's Erasmo Simão started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cornelio Ruisko came free with the goalkeeper in the 5th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Falcão Sampaio could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kraig Fred in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Falcão Sampaio saved Grentino FC from getting behind. Kraig Fred might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Falcão Sampaio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kraig Fred ran back to his position shaking his head. Falcão Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kraig Fred in the 8th minute of the match. Falcão Sampaio came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred. But to his dismay, Kraig Fred quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Leon Dzierwa hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Falcão Sampaio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kraig Fred's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Falcão Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kraig Fred in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Leon Dzierwa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bo Edström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kraig Fred scored 3-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Falcão Sampaio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute of the match, Cornelio Ruisko got a very nice opportunity to score, but Falcão Sampaio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 38 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Xacintu came free, but Marcos Ranolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornelio Ruisko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Falcão Sampaio made a huge save. After 42 minutes of play, Estudiantes de América's Cornelio Ruisko made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Falcão Sampaio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kraig Fred stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Falcão Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kraig Fred in the 52nd minute of the match. Falcão Sampaio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kraig Fred went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Nilton Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Estudiantes de América made a substitution. Concetto Trasatti replaced Kraig Fred. After a rather tough play, Grentino FC's Nilton Passos got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Joel Cordarrel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Falcão Sampaio was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Xacintu in the 68th minute of play. Marcos Ranolfo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gualter Sampaio in the 71st minute. Joel Cordarrel scored 8-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Falcão Sampaio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Falcão Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto Trasatti, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 83rd minute Joel Cordarrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falcão Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Cordarrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Grentino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Blăniță came free, but Falcão Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Froilan Calvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grentino FC's Falcão Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Blăniță in the 94th minute of play. Falcão Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Cordarrel in the 95th minute of the match. Estudiantes de América's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
