Usain Bolt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Sampaio having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Grentino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Usain Bolt came free, but Falcão Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualter Sampaio hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the game, Erasmo Simão recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Constantin Potocianu. Erasmo Simão showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Erasmo Simão came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Grentino FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Simão couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Grentino FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Nilton Passos hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Usain Bolt to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Grentino FC's zone, Usain Bolt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Falcão Sampaio came out of the goal and Usain Bolt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Falcão Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Usain Bolt, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, Mapovihesa FC's Usain Bolt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Falcão Sampaio. Falcão Sampaio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Mapovihesa FC's Raimundo Erramu was substituted for Álvaro Prata. Falcão Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Usain Bolt, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Raimundo Erramu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Falcão Sampaio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 69th minute Raimundo Erramu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falcão Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kálmán Pádár in the 71st minute of play. Grentino FC's Falcão Sampaio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Grentino FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Usain Bolt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mapovihesa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Usain Bolt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Falcão Sampaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Constantin Potocianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Grentino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Usain Bolt came free, but Falcão Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Grentino FC's goalkeeper Falcão Sampaio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Usain Bolt. In the 87th minute Joaquin Xacintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantin Potocianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Falcão Sampaio managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Mapovihesa FC's Raimundo Erramu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gualter Sampaio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Constantin Potocianu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After 92 played minutes Grentino FC got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu de Alcântara. The Mapovihesa FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
