Spectators: 196 (Terracing: 148, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) Kraig Fred started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Téo Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the game, Téo Vieira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC CSKA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estudiantes de América the free kick. Téo Vieira hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Kraig Fred made a precise shot to the right of Georgi Velinov. FC CSKA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Georgi Velinov came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred. But to his dismay, Kraig Fred quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ahmet Refik Ülgü's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Ranolfo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Estudiantes de América getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Maximo Dei hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Prospero Gabirel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Refik Ülgü in the 40th minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximo Dei kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

FC CSKA's Asparuh Genovski was substituted for Ronaldinho de Carvalho. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnulfo Roderigo made a kick off. Marcos Ranolfo was a little too slow when Arnulfo Roderigo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 2-2. Estudiantes de América's Traian Blăniță was substituted for Cornelio Ruisko. Marc Hainl kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Joel Cordarrel put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Georgi Velinov. Traian Blăniță hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 76 played minutes, FC CSKA's Georgi Dimitrov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC CSKA reached it. In the 81st minute Korneliusz Miodek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georgi Velinov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 minutes of play, Estudiantes de América's Traian Blăniță made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Georgi Velinov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Georgi Velinov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Traian Blăniță in the 96th minute of the match. Georgi Velinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Cordarrel in the 97th minute of play. FC CSKA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
