With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albino Maiorga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. GARIBALDI FC's Lázaro Ekain got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Umea Sorzano got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute, Alexandre Tepedino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandre Tepedino in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rene Llorian saved GARIBALDI FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ambrosio Colas got free with Albino Maiorga in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, Danial Boon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rene Llorian. GARIBALDI FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danial Boon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Albino Maiorga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Ekain in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, GARIBALDI FC's Lázaro Ekain ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Albino Maiorga. Albino Maiorga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. If Danial Boon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. GARIBALDI FC's Rene Llorian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danial Boon in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalkeeper Albino Maiorga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrosio Colas. With a little luck, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Albino Maiorga got control of the ball when Ambrosio Colas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rene Llorian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danial Boon went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 46 played minutes GARIBALDI FC got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Constancio.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danial Boon to make the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Alexandre Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Tepedino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ambrosio Colas kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, GARIBALDI FC's Mile Letina got a free kick in the 59th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Colas came free, but Albino Maiorga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GARIBALDI FC's Rene Llorian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danial Boon in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Ekain in the 69th minute of play forced Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalkeeper Albino Maiorga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Stanislao's late challenge caught a Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Stanislao helped the player get up and apologised. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene made a substitution. Liu Feng Guang replaced Danial Boon. Marcos Urtsin charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Darío Eagles fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GARIBALDI FC's protests and gave Darío Eagles a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Darío Eagles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Liu Feng Guang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
