Ermegildo Horado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costel Ţintă in the 21st minute of the match. Cipriano Pasqual scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walter Zenga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luca Păun hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Pasqual in the 37th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, CAI NEUQUEN's Cipriano Pasqual nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walter Zenga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raul Heriberto to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Walter Zenga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raul Heriberto. After 57 minutes, Luca Păun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scorpions -MM- and the CAI NEUQUEN players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Scorpions -MM-'s Luca Păun got a free kick in the 58th minute. Scorpions -MM-'s Traian Uzuneanu was substituted for Augustin Vergulescu. Luca Păun hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Uzuneanu in the 62nd minute of play forced CAI NEUQUEN's goalkeeper Ermegildo Horado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute Traian Uzuneanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 67th minute of the game was made by Luca Păun with Octav Vătăşel as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Scorpions -MM-'s Luca Păun got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Luca Păun off the ground. A collision led to Scorpions -MM- getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Luca Păun hit a great ball. Lee-Paul Ramon struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Walter Zenga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CAI NEUQUEN. A throw-in in the 74th minute of the game was made by Tony Dobos with Dorinel Munteanu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Raul Heriberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, CAI NEUQUEN's Lee-Paul Ramon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walter Zenga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alex Vrânceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raul Heriberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Zenga having to interfere. CAI NEUQUEN played a much better game than Scorpions -MM- and deserved their victory. The Scorpions -MM- players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
