With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgardo Patxi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. CAI NEUQUEN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raul Heriberto in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tristan Baldwin made the kick off in the second half. CAI NEUQUEN's Ermegildo Horado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save CAI NEUQUEN from getting a goal against them. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lengua de Lobo's goalkeeper Edgardo Patxi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Cipriano Pasqual came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the CAI NEUQUEN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Pasqual couldn't finish the play. Ermegildo Horado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patryk Dubilas, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Pasqual in the 64th minute of play forced Lengua de Lobo's goalkeeper Edgardo Patxi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CAI NEUQUEN were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Lengua de Lobo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Raul Heriberto took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Cipriano Pasqual drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind Lengua de Lobo's goalkeeper. 72 minutes into the match, CAI NEUQUEN's goal looked a bit too open when Patryk Dubilas came free, but Ermegildo Horado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Felipo hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Lengua de Lobo's Jaime Nayely was substituted for Severino Azibar. In the 75th match minute, Lengua de Lobo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Felipo to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute Aldo Felipo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Pasqual in the 84th minute of play forced Lengua de Lobo's goalkeeper Edgardo Patxi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th match minute, Lengua de Lobo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Nayely to maneuver through the defense. CAI NEUQUEN made a substitution. Kahlil Ardiansyah replaced Lee-Paul Ramon. The supporters of CAI NEUQUEN booed when Lengua de Lobo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Nayely didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cipriano Pasqual sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, CAI NEUQUEN's Ermegildo Horado got control of the ball when Patryk Dubilas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
