He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fire Devils reached it. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Victorio Perico sped through Fire Devils's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Odysseus Lindenmann. 43 minutes into the match, Internet XAire's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Arne Bengtsson came free, but Oswaldo Oswald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 57th minute of the game, Benigno Pisculichi landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 57 minutes into the game, Narcis Druță was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fire Devils's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Internet XAire the free kick. Internet XAire made a substitution. Alfredo Pavon replaced Benigno Pisculichi. In the 58th minute, Narcis Druță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Odysseus Lindenmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Paz in the 60th minute of the match. Fire Devils's Dariusz Nalaskowski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nestor Garaile, made in the 63rd minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Internet XAire's goalkeeper Oswaldo Oswald had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zlatko Ibrahimović. In the 65th minute, Samuel Giger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oswaldo Oswald was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Internet XAire's Oswaldo Oswald proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Internet XAire from getting a goal against them. Zlatko Ibrahimović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Oswaldo Oswald made a huge save. Odysseus Lindenmann came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Internet XAire's Victorio Perico. But to his dismay, Victorio Perico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After 74 played minutes Internet XAire got a freekick which was hit by Guido Abeita. Zlatko Ibrahimović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Oswald having to interfere. Zlatko Ibrahimović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Oswaldo Oswald made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Paz in the 82nd minute of play forced Fire Devils's goalkeeper Odysseus Lindenmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fire Devils! In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Internet XAire. Nestor Garaile stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Odysseus Lindenmann. 4-1. In the 93rd minute, Zlatko Ibrahimović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the game, Alfredo Pavon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Odysseus Lindenmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
