In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fire Devils's goalkeeper Odysseus Lindenmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, STAL ST WOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Iosif Vornic came free, but Roman Matai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fire Devils's Mitja Wollstadt got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 37 played minutes STAL ST WOLA got a freekick which was hit by Çağlar Soyuncu. In the 38th minute of the match Narcis Druță sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roman Matai skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Edmílson Gaúcho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Matai was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. After 41 played minutes STAL ST WOLA got a freekick which was hit by Mikolaj Lech. After 43 played minutes Fire Devils got a freekick which was hit by Dariusz Nalaskowski.

Fire Devils made a substitution. Zlatko Ibrahimović replaced Edmílson Gaúcho. In the 53rd minute Zlatko Ibrahimović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Robin Andermatt put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. Odysseus Lindenmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Batistuta in the 60th minute of play. Roman Matai made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Zlatko Ibrahimović sent off a good shot on target. Odysseus Lindenmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artaç Hendekli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, STAL ST WOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Zlatko Ibrahimović came free, but Roman Matai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mitja Wollstadt hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Çağlar Soyuncu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odysseus Lindenmann having to interfere. Zlatko Ibrahimović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Roman Matai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79thth minute of the game Mikolaj Lech who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fire Devils's Odysseus Lindenmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Artaç Hendekli hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Zlatko Ibrahimović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Roman Matai made a huge save. In the 87th minute Sven-Arne Bengtsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Çağlar Soyuncu kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artaç Hendekli in the 93rd minute of play forced Fire Devils's goalkeeper Odysseus Lindenmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patryk Glogowski kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind STAL ST WOLA's goalkeeper Roman Matai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Odysseus Lindenmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. STAL ST WOLA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
