Oswaldo Oswald dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanni Rana in the 12th minute of play forced Internet XAire's goalkeeper Oswaldo Oswald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oswaldo Oswald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Rana, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Internet XAire's zone, Linus Fredriksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oswaldo Oswald came out of the goal and Linus Fredriksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marlin FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Filiberto Paz scored to the left of an out of position Juan Carlos Alvarez, making the score, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Linus Fredriksson was the one to do the kick off. Oswaldo Oswald made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yin Yang in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute Linus Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Oswald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yin Yang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Oswaldo Oswald made a huge save. 63 minutes into the match, Dionisio Panpili had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oswaldo Oswald. Internet XAire's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dionisio Panpili was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Marlin FC made a substitution. Oswaldo Oswald was a little too slow when Yin Yang got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 2-5.
