Erwin Jadamowitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute Wellington Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liu Xing Qiang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hudson Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erwin Jadamowitz in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Austra 04 VFC's Sócrates Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Liu Xing Qiang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Beila Mora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Liu Xing Qiang made a huge save. Hudson Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco Coscia in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's zone, Beila Mora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liu Xing Qiang came out of the goal and Beila Mora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Douglas Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erwin Jadamowitz to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafim Malta got free with Hudson Gaúcho in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Hudson Gaúcho managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's Francesco Coscia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wellington Pires in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Liu Xing Qiang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Francesco Coscia might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hudson Gaúcho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francesco Coscia ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 61st minute Erwin Jadamowitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Raúl Perez fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Austra 04 VFC's protests and gave Raúl Perez a yellow card for diving instead.
