An unexpectedly hard shot by Aykutalp Tecelli in the 19th minute of play forced Abandon All Hope's goalkeeper Meng Yan Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Aykutalp Tecelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meng Yan Jing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aykutalp Tecelli in the 24th minute of play forced Abandon All Hope's goalkeeper Meng Yan Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Abandon All Hope's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The corner led to SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Abandon All Hope's Meng Yan Jing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aykutalp Tecelli in the 32nd minute of play. Yorrick Zoethout made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Ye Hong sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute Melker Gudmundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meng Yan Jing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Lisandro Heerckes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Meng Yan Jing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Homan, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Meng Yan Jing came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan. But to his dismay, Steven Homan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 45th minute, Jyrki Kujanpää got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Abandon All Hope players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SV Balverliefd were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Michal Arendarski made the kick off in the second half. Meng Yan Jing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Homan, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Meng Yan Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Homan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
