Emerson Leão made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Cruz Credo sent off a good shot on target. Emerson Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cruz Credo in the 16th minute of play. Maravilla were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paulus Van Poucke took the corner. Maravilla's Primitivo Txanton was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emerson Leão in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Maravilla's Facundo Altamirano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Varela in the 36th minute of play. Facundo Altamirano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vicente Varela's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vicente Varela made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Braulio Chaime hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Cruz Credo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maravilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Cruz Credo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emerson Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goalkeeper Emerson Leão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st minute of the match Maravilla got a corner. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paulus Van Poucke ran over to the corner to take the kick. Maravilla's Paulus Van Poucke was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emerson Leão in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Dan Petrescu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cruz Credo in the 68th minute of play forced CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goalkeeper Emerson Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Dan Petrescu got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 73rd match minute, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Varela to maneuver through the defense. Dan Petrescu's late challenge caught a Maravilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Petrescu helped the player get up and apologised. Dan Petrescu kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ got a freekick which was hit by Dan Petrescu. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulus Van Poucke was slow to take the kick. During this time Maravilla's players had a chance to rest. Maravilla's Facundo Altamirano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Shantala in the 86th minute of play.
