The audience thought a goal was coming when Viktor Axelsson got free with Rogério Ceni in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute of the match, Adrian Isbășoiu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rogério Ceni saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 38 minutes into the match, Teodoro Hartz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC MCM's Călin Prunaru. Călin Prunaru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Belgrano LOS PIRATAS getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Joerg-Uwe Sieben hit a great ball. FC MCM's Viktor Axelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Viktor Axelsson made the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 57th minute of the game was made by Cătălin Agulescu with Cătălin Agulescu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The FC MCM fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when FC MCM's Viktor Axelsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Călin Prunaru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC MCM's goalkeeper Călin Prunaru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 77 minutes FC MCM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carroll Mansfield who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Aldo Franco heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. FC MCM's Călin Prunaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Pracki in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Navin Dale got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 88thth minute of the game Herbert Pracki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC MCM's Călin Prunaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute, Carroll Mansfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Cristi Maniu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Belgrano LOS PIRATAS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
