Enrique Rozarius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Călin Prunaru made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Călin Prunaru successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 19th minute La Scaloneta were awarded a corner. Enrique Rozarius went to the cornerflag to take it. Enrique Rozarius made a great header on La Scaloneta's corner, it was just that FC MCM's Călin Prunaru managed to reach the ball for a save. FC MCM's Călin Prunaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Rozarius in the 20th minute of play. FC MCM's Maxim Frumuzache got his second yellow card of the match in the 22nd minute. The referee ordered Maxim Frumuzache off the ground. In the 23rd match minute, FC MCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxim Frumuzache to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Franco Moscatelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Enrique Rozarius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Prunaru having to interfere. In the 40th minute La Scaloneta were awarded a corner. Enrique Rozarius went to the cornerflag to take it. After a defensive mix-up in La Scaloneta's zone, Cătălin Agulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franco Moscatelli came out of the goal and Cătălin Agulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cătălin Agulescu was the one to do the kick off. Franco Moscatelli made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Cătălin Agulescu sent off a good shot on target. FC MCM's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristi Maniu in the 54th minute. After taking down the ball on FC MCM's corner Cristi Maniu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Franco Moscatelli quite easily take care of the ball. If Enrique Rozarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franco Moscatelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cătălin Agulescu in the 59th minute of play. After 60 played minutes FC MCM got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Axelsson. In the 61stth minute of the game Gilberto Izel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC MCM's Călin Prunaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gilberto Izel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Călin Prunaru having to make a save. FC MCM's Vali Cârnu was substituted for Viktor Axelsson. Gilberto Izel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Călin Prunaru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Adrian Isbășoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Moscatelli having to interfere. Gilberto Izel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Călin Prunaru having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Izel in the 73rd minute of play forced FC MCM's goalkeeper Călin Prunaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Rozarius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Călin Prunaru having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in FC MCM's zone, Gilberto Izel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Călin Prunaru came out of the goal and Gilberto Izel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La Scaloneta's Franco Moscatelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pau Novo in the 87th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Izel came free, but Călin Prunaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Cătălin Agulescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franco Moscatelli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. FC MCM's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
