In the 11th minute, Tiberiu Caramarin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kuido Suursaar took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Calistrat Madgearu. Calistrat Madgearu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Calistrat Madgearu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Scibilia in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 19th minute of play forced PomeziaRamblers's goalkeeper Claus Himschoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to MIT getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Mihăiţă Ilarie hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Tiberiu Caramarin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claus Himschoot was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kuido Suursaar to make the kick off. Calistrat Madgearu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Scibilia, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. MIT were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over PomeziaRamblers's much stronger midfield.
