Calistrat Madgearu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 9 minutes, Okanalp Özdil made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. MIT's Calistrat Madgearu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tiberiu Caramarin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danilo Testa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After some careless play in the MIT defense, Okanalp Özdil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Calistrat Madgearu. The MIT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Calistrat Madgearu should have stopped the shot. Okanalp Özdil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Okanalp Özdil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Calistrat Madgearu made a huge save. Timoteo Michael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calistrat Madgearu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Okanalp Özdil, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Calistrat Madgearu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Okanalp Özdil showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 28 minute of play. Tiberiu Caramarin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danilo Testa having to make a save. In the 31st minute Tiberiu Caramarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Testa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Mihăiţă Ilarie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiberiu Caramarin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Timoteo Michael fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Candelaria FC's protests and gave Timoteo Michael a yellow card for diving instead. Timoteo Michael kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Candelaria FC's Danilo Testa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 43rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Okanalp Özdil was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Candelaria FC booed when MIT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihăiţă Ilarie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calistrat Madgearu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Okanalp Özdil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, MIT's Tiberiu Caramarin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Danilo Testa. Danilo Testa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Candelaria FC made a substitution. Bart Pellen replaced Wieslaw Bielejewski. MIT made a substitution. David Tunander replaced Dorin Banu. 73 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicodim Orășan came free, but Danilo Testa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicodim Orășan got free with Danilo Testa in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Caramarin came free, but Danilo Testa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calistrat Madgearu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Olof Sjöberg in the 84th minute of the match. MIT's Nicodim Orășan got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. MIT made a substitution. Aurel Buzea replaced Florin Seremet. Sabastian Rodriguez hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, MIT's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Marquez came free, but Calistrat Madgearu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Danilo Testa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicodim Orășan. Calistrat Madgearu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bart Pellen, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Candelaria FC's Danilo Testa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Tunander in the 95th minute of play. Candelaria FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
