The throw-in from Vali Romoşan in the 5th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MIT's Mihăiţă Ilarie. Calistrat Madgearu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tonete Abaurre in the 8th minute of the match. After 10 minutes of play, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Recep Guftar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Calistrat Madgearu was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vali Romoşan during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Kalatakaya F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vali Romoşan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 15th minute of play forced Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper Luis Galarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Galarza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiberiu Caramarin went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Tiberiu Caramarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Helmut Gutiérrez kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper Luis Galarza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiberiu Caramarin. 29 minutes into the match, MIT's goal looked a bit too open when Recep Guftar came free, but Calistrat Madgearu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 35th minute of the game was made by Helmut Gutiérrez with Tonete Abaurre as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. MIT's Calistrat Madgearu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Romoşan in the 36th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tiberiu Caramarin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luis Galarza. That made the score 2-1 in the 37 minute of play. Florin Seremet hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Calistrat Madgearu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jair Reinoso in the 65th minute of play. MIT's Calistrat Madgearu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Lluterio in the 68th minute of play. After 75 played minutes MIT got a freekick which was hit by Alex Balotă. Kalatakaya F.C. made a substitution. Moises Kelemen replaced Recep Guftar. Kalatakaya F.C.'s Aaron Gauargi was substituted for Jair Reinoso. MIT made a substitution. David Tunander replaced Dorin Banu. Benito Lluterio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Calistrat Madgearu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Benito Lluterio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kalatakaya F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. MIT made a substitution. Aurel Buzea replaced Florin Seremet. After a rather tough play, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Moises Kelemen got a free kick in the 91st minute. When Bogdan Bucataru came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the MIT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bogdan Bucataru couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Tiberiu Caramarin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MIT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. MIT's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
