Spectators: 184 (Terracing: 139, Seating: 42, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Okanalp Özdil took the kick off in the first half of the match. Calistrat Madgearu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Okanalp Özdil in the 3rd minute of play. Okanalp Özdil took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Calistrat Madgearu. Calistrat Madgearu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 12th minute Tiberiu Caramarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Testa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Testa was a little too slow when Tiberiu Caramarin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-1. Calistrat Madgearu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Okanalp Özdil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiberiu Caramarin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, Tiberiu Caramarin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. MIT's Calistrat Madgearu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okanalp Özdil in the 23rd minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, Candelaria FC's Okanalp Özdil made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Calistrat Madgearu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 40 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Danilo Testa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiberiu Caramarin. MIT's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mihăiţă Ilarie in the 41st minute. The corner led MIT's Mihăiţă Ilarie to fire away a dangerous shot which Danilo Testa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Candelaria FC's Danilo Testa got control of the ball when Tiberiu Caramarin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Wieslaw Bielejewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Candelaria FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MIT the free kick. In the 46th match minute, Candelaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wieslaw Bielejewski to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiberiu Caramarin to strike the kick off in the second half. Calistrat Madgearu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Okanalp Özdil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danilo Testa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihăiţă Ilarie in the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Radu Sărăroiu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Candelaria FC's Marciano Lekubegi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihăiţă Ilarie in the 74th minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Danilo Testa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 played minutes Candelaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Sabastian Rodriguez. MIT's Bogdan Bucataru was substituted for Mihăiţă Ilarie. MIT's David Tunander was substituted for Dorin Banu. Candelaria FC's Sven-Olof Sjöberg was substituted for Antonio Alzamendi. Sabastian Rodriguez hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Candelaria FC's Christian Gómez got a free kick in the 84th minute. Nicodim Orășan took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danilo Testa. Danilo Testa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. MIT's Aurel Buzea was substituted for Florin Seremet. Candelaria FC's Danilo Testa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicodim Orășan in the 89th minute of play. In the 94th match minute, MIT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Bucataru to maneuver through the defense. The Candelaria FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Candelaria FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
