The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Calistrat Madgearu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Kalatakaya F.C. getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Tonete Abaurre hit a great ball. Benito Lluterio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Calistrat Madgearu having to make a save. With a little luck, MIT's Calistrat Madgearu got control of the ball when Benito Lluterio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner ended in Helmut Gutiérrez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MIT's Calistrat Madgearu did a great save. 40 minutes into the match, MIT's goalkeeper Calistrat Madgearu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benito Lluterio.

Kalatakaya F.C.'s Luis Cristaldo was substituted for Aaron Gauargi. Kalatakaya F.C.'s Salomón Enríquez was substituted for Moises Kelemen. 55 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper Luis Galarza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiberiu Caramarin. The supporters of Kalatakaya F.C. booed when MIT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihăiţă Ilarie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florin Seremet charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florin Seremet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes MIT got a freekick which was hit by Florin Seremet. MIT made a substitution. David Tunander replaced Dorin Banu. The supporters of Kalatakaya F.C. booed when MIT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Seremet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tonete Abaurre struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Calistrat Madgearu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kalatakaya F.C.. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicodim Orășan got free with Luis Galarza in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MIT's Calistrat Madgearu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tonete Abaurre in the 78th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, MIT's goal looked a bit too open when Jair Reinoso came free, but Calistrat Madgearu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bogdan Bucataru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MIT walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
