After 5 minutes of play, Monte Hermoso Beach's Aage Hill made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kjell Sjöö was left in no man's land by his defense there! 10 minutes into the match, Monte Hermoso Beach's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Gerber came free, but Zachariasz Chmielecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Aage Hill left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monte Hermoso Beach fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Monte Hermoso Beach's Zachariasz Chmielecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Sá in the 18th minute of play. Lúcio Sá scored 1-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zachariasz Chmielecki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zachariasz Chmielecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piearres Holgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Curiphila Eagles's zone, Viktor Petrus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell Sjöö came out of the goal and Viktor Petrus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Aage Hill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Monte Hermoso Beach's Zachariasz Chmielecki got control of the ball when Piearres Holgado tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute Aage Hill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Sjöö saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 狄珂益 made in the 46th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by 尤奕景. After the first half Monte Hermoso Beach were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hector Montrel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Monte Hermoso Beach's Hector Montrel got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Piearres Holgado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zachariasz Chmielecki. Monte Hermoso Beach's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Piearres Holgado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lúcio Sá in the 62nd minute of play forced Monte Hermoso Beach's goalkeeper Zachariasz Chmielecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Curiphila Eagles's Kjell Sjöö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Montrel in the 63rd minute of play. Zachariasz Chmielecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Vihonský in the 71st minute of play. After 72 minutes, Douglas Gerber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curiphila Eagles and the Monte Hermoso Beach players grew even worse after the yellow card. Curiphila Eagles's Nico Cunha was substituted for 尤奕景. In the 74th match minute, Curiphila Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Gerber to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Curiphila Eagles's Kjell Sjöö got control of the ball when Hector Montrel tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Siro Suarez put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Kjell Sjöö. After taking down the ball on Monte Hermoso Beach's corner Siro Suarez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kjell Sjöö quite easily take care of the ball. Monte Hermoso Beach's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
