In the 13th minute Castanheiro SC were awarded a corner. Alfredo Stefano went to the cornerflag to take it. Castanheiro SC's Wincent Dropinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aage Hill in the 19th minute of play. The corner led Monte Hermoso Beach's Viktor Petrus to fire away a dangerous shot which Wincent Dropinski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zachariasz Chmielecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Stefano, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 31st minute Aage Hill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincent Dropinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Monte Hermoso Beach's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Stefano came free, but Zachariasz Chmielecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zachariasz Chmielecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robben Spoelberchs, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Monte Hermoso Beach's Hector Montrel was substituted for Aage Hill. Monte Hermoso Beach made a substitution. Siro Suarez replaced Fulgencio Pudes. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hector Montrel to make the kick off. Daniel Romero hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Viktor Petrus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monte Hermoso Beach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viktor Petrus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th match minute, Monte Hermoso Beach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Teo Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute of the match José Pedro Carneiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zachariasz Chmielecki skillfully saved the ball. Wincent Dropinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Montrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zachariasz Chmielecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jânio Sanches in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Monte Hermoso Beach's goal looked a bit too open when Jânio Sanches came free, but Zachariasz Chmielecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robben Spoelberchs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Zachariasz Chmielecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jânio Sanches in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zachariasz Chmielecki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 98th minute Manfredo Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Chmielecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Castanheiro SC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Monte Hermoso Beach for a fine match.
