George Kristiansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damazy Joks, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. George Kristiansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Joks in the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Sten Melberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Botescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Damazy Joks sped through Di Röe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of George Kristiansson. Gigel Botescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Melberg in the 22nd minute of the match. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Leon Mleczewski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leif Svanström in the 25 minute of the game. 31 minutes into the match, KS Olimpia Warszawa's Damazy Joks sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Kristiansson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led KS Olimpia Warszawa's Walery Glapiak to fire away a dangerous shot which George Kristiansson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With an all-out effort, KS Olimpia Warszawa's George Kristiansson threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Damazy Joks, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. KS Olimpia Warszawa were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Di Röe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Walery Glapiak took the corner. In the 38th minute of the match Di Röe got a corner. KS Olimpia Warszawa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Herman Benett ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Di Röe's Herman Benett to fire away a dangerous shot which Gigel Botescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Joks in the 41st minute of play forced Di Röe's goalkeeper George Kristiansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walery Glapiak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. George Kristiansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sten Melberg was the one to do the kick off. George Kristiansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damazy Joks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damazy Joks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Kristiansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Di Röe's goal looked a bit too open when Damazy Joks came free, but George Kristiansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Kristiansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damazy Joks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Damazy Joks came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the KS Olimpia Warszawa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damazy Joks couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Leif Svanström in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by KS Olimpia Warszawa's Fabiano Carneiro. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Sharma Sharma was substituted for Damazy Joks. Gigel Botescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Knut Engström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 played minutes Di Röe got a freekick which was hit by Malte Hedström. Walery Glapiak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Di Röe's Malte Hedström got a free kick in the 94th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. KS Olimpia Warszawa had played much better football throughout.
