The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Rexino got free with Gigel Botescu in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute, Damazy Joks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Olimpia Warszawa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 15thth minute of the game Damazy Joks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cremonese's Israel Manex was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Jan Kornatowski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jaime Porfiro, made in the 17th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the game, Mauro Rexino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gigel Botescu. Mauro Rexino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Israel Manex came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by KS Olimpia Warszawa's Damazy Joks. But to his dismay, Damazy Joks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The KS Olimpia Warszawa fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when KS Olimpia Warszawa's Damazy Joks looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When KS Olimpia Warszawa's Damazy Joks in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walery Glapiak in the 43rd minute of play forced Cremonese's goalkeeper Israel Manex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, KS Olimpia Warszawa's Piotr Kawa got a free kick in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauro Rexino made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damazy Joks in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Israel Manex saved Cremonese from getting behind. In the 62nd minute, Damazy Joks ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Israel Manex was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. If Damazy Joks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 65th minute, Damazy Joks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Ruisko in the 68th minute of play forced KS Olimpia Warszawa's goalkeeper Gigel Botescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Jan Kornatowski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jaime Porfiro in the 70 minute of the game. If Damazy Joks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Israel Manex showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damazy Joks, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damazy Joks in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Israel Manex saved Cremonese from getting behind. 84 minutes into the match, Mauro Rexino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gigel Botescu. KS Olimpia Warszawa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Rexino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. 89 minutes into the match, KS Olimpia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Lu Guang Lang came free, but Gigel Botescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
