After some careless play in the Morro Grande E.C defense, Wojciech Kluska kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Pedro Abraão. The Morro Grande E.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Pedro Abraão should have stopped the shot. Wasyl Rutkowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Pedro Abraão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wasyl Rutkowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Morro Grande E.C's José Pedro Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wojciech Kluska in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute Wojciech Kluska shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Pedro Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, José Augusto Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Viper's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
