After 9 minutes, Albin Ånger made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Morro Grande E.C's Fernando Veloso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Albin Ånger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Veloso having to interfere. Albin Ånger might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Veloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albin Ånger ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 26th minute, Albin Ånger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Zabaleta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Albin Ånger put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Fernando Veloso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Ånger in the 34th minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Fernando Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Gilabert, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Benjamin Nascimento got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albin Ånger made a kick off. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Fernando Veloso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Albin Ånger notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Morro Grande E.C's Fernando Veloso. Fernando Veloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Miguel Gilabert came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the La Zabaleta fans jumped to their feet. Morro Grande E.C's Fernando Veloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Morro Grande E.C from getting a goal against them. La Zabaleta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
