After 32 played minutes Tuareg got a freekick which was hit by Timofey Naumenko. 37 minutes into the match, Erik Lund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Klim Dolgolaptev. Tuareg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Lund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 41 minutes into the match, Tuareg's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Argina came free, but Klim Dolgolaptev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaetan Slaghmeulders got free with Klim Dolgolaptev in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valeriy Noskov was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Erik Lund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klim Dolgolaptev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Klim Dolgolaptev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaetan Slaghmeulders, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valeriy Noskov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Cosme Fernendo made a huge save. Klim Dolgolaptev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaetan Slaghmeulders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the game, Nereo Argina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tuareg the free kick. In the 88th match minute, River was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Argina to maneuver through the defense.
