Franky Dhondt started the match with the kick off. With an all-out effort, Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Viriato Cruz threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Franky Dhondt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mateo Filipo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The supporters of ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ booed when Cardo Ruso Cordobés was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Galsino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alketas Anastasakos made in the 9th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kyriakos Georgopoulos immediately put the ball in play. A collision led to ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Alketas Anastasakos hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Franky Dhondt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Viriato Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franky Dhondt in the 15th minute of play. When Franky Dhondt came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Cardo Ruso Cordobés fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franky Dhondt couldn't finish the play. Viriato Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franky Dhondt in the 21st minute of play. 狄钢远 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Cruz having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franky Dhondt in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viriato Cruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyriakos Georgopoulos in the 36th minute of play forced Cardo Ruso Cordobés's goalkeeper Julio Falcioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 played minutes ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ got a freekick which was hit by Alketas Anastasakos. Eduardo Ieltxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Cruz having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thymios Pantoflaras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Viriato Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Ieltxu in the 52nd minute of the match. Loukas Kritikos made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gilberto Gonçalves however managed to control. Viriato Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franky Dhondt in the 57th minute of play. Julio Falcioni made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Iosif Briolas sent off a good shot on target. After 60 minutes of play, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Egemen Tuna made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Falcioni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Modesto Urtungo was substituted for 狄钢远. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Louis Drakopoulos was substituted for Thymios Pantoflaras. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Bennvar Back was substituted for Franky Dhondt. Viriato Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bennvar Back, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Cardo Ruso Cordobés were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Modesto Urtungo took the corner. If Bennvar Back had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bennvar Back in the 71st minute of play forced ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's goalkeeper Viriato Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Cardo Ruso Cordobés's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Drakopoulos came free, but Julio Falcioni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Falcioni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyriakos Georgopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Loukas Kritikos made in the 80th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kyriakos Georgopoulos however managed to control. Viriato Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bennvar Back in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Alketas Anastasakos got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Julio Falcioni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyriakos Georgopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute of the game Alketas Anastasakos made a throw-in which Gilberto Gonçalves played forward. Viriato Cruz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bennvar Back's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. When the referee ended the match the Cardo Ruso Cordobés players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
