Tudor Mardarie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Bruno Cruz made a huge save. In the 21st minute, GoooooL's Călin Senin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bruno Cruz. Bruno Cruz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Bruno Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Grigore, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Ştefan Grigore took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Bruno Cruz to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tudor Mardarie got free with Bruno Cruz in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The GoooooL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iker Madrid should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

A collision led to AnÐaRaHy getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Pedro Luiz Reis hit a great ball. Călin Senin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Cruz having to interfere.
