The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Raimond Lenk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Servando in the 3rd minute of play. Damian Servando might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raimond Lenk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 22 played minutes La Candela FC got a freekick which was hit by Damian Servando. Raimond Lenk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damian Servando went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. La Candela FC's Jacobo Urdin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Hernandez in the 32nd minute of play. Laurenz Goddez took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raimond Lenk. Raimond Lenk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 38th minute, Liu Liang Gang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, Laurenz Goddez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Candela FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 42 minutes into the match, Guaberto Bitxintxo notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Piratas FC's Raimond Lenk. Raimond Lenk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Raimond Lenk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurenz Goddez in the 44th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Constantino Idacio made a kick off. Santo Millano charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santo Millano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, La Candela FC's Santo Millano got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 67th minute Damian Servando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimond Lenk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Piratas FC's goalkeeper Raimond Lenk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacobo Urdin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Hernandez in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Constantino Idacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Urdin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Damian Servando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Bernabel made in the 89th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Amadeo Francesco. Nunez Hernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Urdin having to interfere. La Candela FC played a much better game than Piratas FC and deserved their victory. The Piratas FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
