Henrique Almeida did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Mihăiţă Ştefulescu 32 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrique Almeida got free with Mihăiţă Ştefulescu in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 黄超亦 made a kick off. With an all-out effort, GoooooL's Bruno Cruz threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Filip Otețea, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício Bittencourt in the 52nd minute of the match. But to his dismay, Maurício Bittencourt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Maurício Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihăiţă Ştefulescu having to interfere.
