Anton Scheupach blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Qiu Chuan Ran having to make a save. After 9 played minutes ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐► got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Yaşar Recai. ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s attentive Anton Scheupach managed to snatch the ball when Witold Piszczor made a throw-in in the 13th minute of the game. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Qiu Chuan Ran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Veerman in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute Henk Veerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Chuan Ran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Qiu Chuan Ran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henk Veerman in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henk Veerman in the 22nd minute of play forced Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper Qiu Chuan Ran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Henk Veerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐► booed when Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witold Piszczor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Menelaos Damianos charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Menelaos Damianos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 35 minutes, ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Primitivo Balesio got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Qiu Chuan Ran. 42 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Henk Veerman came free, but Qiu Chuan Ran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henk Veerman made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henk Veerman in the 52nd minute of play forced Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper Qiu Chuan Ran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Qiu Chuan Ran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henk Veerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the game, Henk Veerman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Qiu Chuan Ran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Henk Veerman scored 3-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Qiu Chuan Ran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Qiu Chuan Ran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Qiu Chuan Ran came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Henk Veerman. But to his dismay, Henk Veerman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Derman Soysaldı didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonzalo Lixandro went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. When ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Henk Veerman in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Qiu Chuan Ran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 86 minutes into the match, ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Henk Veerman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Qiu Chuan Ran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Henk Veerman came free, but Qiu Chuan Ran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Henk Veerman came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐► fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henk Veerman couldn't finish the play. In the 94th match minute, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Piszczor to maneuver through the defense. Qiu Chuan Ran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henk Veerman in the 95th minute of the match. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
