The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abel de Godoi got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel de Godoi got free with János Moravecz in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abelardo Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wen Bing Liang in the 7th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, SÉ SE's Attila Pálffy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abelardo Maranhense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 12th match minute, Olivedos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubinho Chaves to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Attila Pálffy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abelardo Maranhense was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. SÉ SE's János Moravecz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save SÉ SE from getting a goal against them. Luisinho Ceresso was slow to take the kick. During this time Olivedos's players had a chance to rest. Wen Bing Liang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abelardo Maranhense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Osvaldinho Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute Ludomil Bronkala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. János Moravecz made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Cássio Ferraz sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th minute, Gonzalo Parraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Olivedos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Wen Bing Liang might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Maranhense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wen Bing Liang ran back to his position shaking his head. Abel de Godoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over János Moravecz. János Moravecz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel de Godoi in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SÉ SE eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
