The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A sloppy throw-in by Ferman Sıraç in the 4th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Olivedos's Gonzalo Parraga. Şeray Rauf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel de Godoi in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute Abel de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şeray Rauf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Yavuzalp Mesut could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Abelardo Maranhense however easily saved by the left post. Cássio Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. If Cemal Özgun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şeray Rauf stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cássio Ferraz's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Cássio Ferraz struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Şeray Rauf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olivedos. If Abel de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Cássio Ferraz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olivedos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Magno Sampaio hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Olivedos made a substitution. Rômulo Custódio replaced Osvaldinho Veiga. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abel de Godoi made a kick off. Şeray Rauf didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cássio Ferraz went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Şeray Rauf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 67 minutes into the match, The Last Airbender's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Ferraz came free, but Şeray Rauf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cássio Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, The Last Airbender's Adil Alan got a free kick in the 75th minute. Şeray Rauf was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Luisinho Ceresso. After some careless play in the The Last Airbender defense, Abel de Godoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şeray Rauf. The The Last Airbender fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şeray Rauf should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute, Abel de Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Şeray Rauf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel de Godoi in the 84th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Olivedos's Abel de Godoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Şeray Rauf made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Olivedos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
