Chicão de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kasper Bivall, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 45 minutes, Sam Galvan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Torino SSA and the Flamengo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kasper Bivall to strike the kick off in the second half. Sam Galvan kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Kasper Bivall received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Chicão de Azevedo came out and tried to block the shot, but Kasper Bivall slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 57th minute. In the 62nd minute, Arturo Espiridion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chicão de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kasper Bivall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute of the game Jerônimo Guerra made a throw-in which Noureddine Seret played forward. Jerônimo Guerra charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerônimo Guerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st match minute, Torino SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerônimo Guerra to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kasper Bivall in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chicão de Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Kasper Bivall sped through Torino SSA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chicão de Azevedo. 80 minutes into the game, Kasper Bivall cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Chicão de Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Flamengo made a substitution. Elliott Gustafsson replaced Basílio Ornelas. Torino SSA's Toninho da Fonseca was substituted for Miroslav Kindekov. Henrik Kilström charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrik Kilström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Torino SSA booed when Flamengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Kilström didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Flamengo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Torino SSA.
