Spectators: 177 (Terracing: 133, Seating: 41, VIP seats: 3) Samurai Champions FC's Peter Santos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, FC Chorchoj's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Santos came free, but Zheng Jian Yi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Márcio de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vic Angelsø in the 8th minute of play. Șerban Bărbânță kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Lino Policarpio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Márcio de Brito. Samurai Champions FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zheng Jian Yi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zheng Jian Yi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Santos in the 15th minute of the match. Lautaro-Gabriel Martinez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio de Brito having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Luís Eduardo Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Edmondo Coco managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Chorchoj's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmondo Coco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Márcio de Brito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lautaro-Gabriel Martinez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Márcio de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zheng Jian Yi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Santos in the 33rd minute of play. FC Chorchoj's Zheng Jian Yi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Santos in the 37th minute of play. Adrianinho Leme's late challenge caught a FC Chorchoj's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrianinho Leme helped the player get up and apologised. Márcio de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Vedillo in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Vic Angelsø made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Samurai Champions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Șerban Bărbânță to maneuver through the defense. Samurai Champions FC's Alfredo Di Cintio was substituted for Amílton Cordeiro. Șerban Bărbânță kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Vic Angelsø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Martin Ledvina in the 66th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Samurai Champions FC's Valentín Pascal. Vic Angelsø recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cido Recife in the 79th minute of play forced FC Chorchoj's goalkeeper Zheng Jian Yi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samurai Champions FC's Márcio de Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Samurai Champions FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vic Angelsø got free with Márcio de Brito in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the FC Chorchoj defense, Cido Recife kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zheng Jian Yi. The FC Chorchoj fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zheng Jian Yi should have stopped the shot. The Samurai Champions FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
