The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Arif Gaffar Nadi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 7 minutes on the clock, D.J. 杨广 commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. D.J. 杨广 hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Márcio de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Tirso in the 9th minute of the match. Márcio de Brito came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Boquenses's Gregorio Tirso. But to his dismay, Gregorio Tirso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 12th minute of the match, Feliciano Pancho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Márcio de Brito was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Tirso in the 18th minute of play forced Samurai Champions FC's goalkeeper Márcio de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Osoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Osoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Santos in the 33rd minute of the match. Samurai Champions FC's Márcio de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Tirso in the 35th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Boquenses got a freekick which was hit by Celso Gaur. When Peter Santos came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Samurai Champions FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Santos couldn't finish the play. Celso Gaur hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Tobias Osoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 45 minutes, Celso Gaur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boquenses and the Samurai Champions FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Sancho to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Boquenses's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Santos came free, but Tobias Osoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Boquenses booed when Samurai Champions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Eduardo Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Márcio de Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 56 played minutes Samurai Champions FC got a freekick which was hit by Arif Gaffar Nadi. Boquenses made a substitution. Sylvain Gyselincx replaced Celso Gaur. Samurai Champions FC made a substitution. Alfredo Di Cintio replaced Amílton Cordeiro. Samurai Champions FC's Cido Recife was substituted for Peter Santos.
