Alaaddin Solskjær made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Jorrin Briones could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Alaaddin Solskjær made a huge save. In the 13th minute Fredric Hybbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferenc Tököli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ferenc Tököli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Hybbert in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Carlos-Alberto Bayona threw the ball into play from the sideline. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Albert Camus quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ferenc Tököli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Sundström in the 19th minute of play. After 22nd play minutes Lars Sundström shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Ferenc Tököli and just under the crossbar into goal. After 24 minutes, Lars Sundström made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ferenc Tököli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Sundström in the 28th minute of play forced Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Ferenc Tököli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Fredric Hybbert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Kurdistan's Elliot Nordgren was substituted for Lars Sundström. Fredric Hybbert made in the 41st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Elliot Nordgren however managed to control. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerrold Taranco in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alaaddin Solskjær saved FC Kurdistan from getting behind. Paul Falkrans hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 82nd match minute, FC Kurdistan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Falkrans to maneuver through the defense. After 82 played minutes, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Herminio Miera shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rapsodas Red Devils FC reached it. Alaaddin Solskjær showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Salah in the 84th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Rapsodas Red Devils FC defense, Jörgen Levander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferenc Tököli. The Rapsodas Red Devils FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferenc Tököli should have stopped the shot. After having played for 88 minutes, Yin Yun Fan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kurdistan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yin Yun Fan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rapsodas Red Devils FC were furious when Marcus Olsson was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 92 minutes into the game, one of Rapsodas Red Devils FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 95 minutes, FC Kurdistan's Keefer Carragher got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ferenc Tököli. When the final whistle sounded FC Kurdistan left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rapsodas Red Devils FC.
