After 11 played minutes Menchu FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Cordaryal. Gabriele Batistuta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Fanström having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 17th minute of play forced Doffes Damer's goalkeeper Gabriel Fanström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Inge Braa came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute of the game Lucas Martínez Quarta made a throw-in which Gabriele Batistuta played forward. Inge Braa took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Salvidor. Camilo Salvidor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Gabriel Fanström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Söderqwist, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriele Batistuta in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Fanström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Gabriele Batistuta put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gabriel Fanström. Caetano Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Greg Barrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute of the game Tomas Cordaryal made a throw-in which Gabriele Batistuta played forward. After a defensive mix-up in Menchu FC's zone, Inge Braa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Salvidor came out of the goal and Inge Braa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Doffes Damer's Herbert Wincek quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Armando Roland, made in the 55th minute of the game. Gabriel Fanström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Inge Braa came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Doffes Damer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inge Braa couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute Inge Braa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Gabriel Fanström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doffes Damer made a substitution. Andréas Stigsson replaced Greg Barrera. Menchu FC made a substitution. Primitivo Rocendo replaced Roberto Carlo. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
