Karl-Michael Brask showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baškim Sumulikovski in the 9th minute of play forced Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalkeeper Flavio Peter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amado Nisio was slow to take the kick. During this time Loco De Remate's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Aires in the 15th minute of play forced Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalkeeper Flavio Peter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Rene Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Karl-Michael Brask slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Walmir Catarinense. That made the score 2-1 after 32 minutes of play. Loco De Remate's Walmir Catarinense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Loco De Remate from getting a goal against them. Walmir Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Brask in the 39th minute of play. Amado Nisio charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amado Nisio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Loco De Remate's Amado Nisio got a free kick in the 48th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Loco De Remate's zone, Karl-Michael Brask stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walmir Catarinense came out of the goal and Karl-Michael Brask tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Rene Aires made the kick off in the second half. Walmir Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Brask, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Walmir Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xerxes Doro in the 60th minute of play. Godfredo Luix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Flavio Peter made a huge save. In the 61st minute, Rene Aires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rene Aires who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Flavio Peter when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rene Aires in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Peter saved Batalionul U23 Dorobanti from getting behind. Flavio Peter came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Loco De Remate's Isaac Chayo. But to his dismay, Isaac Chayo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The supporters of Loco De Remate booed when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blagoy Doro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clodoveo Christobal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Flavio Peter made a huge save. In the 90th minute, Loco De Remate's Clodoveo Christobal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. A collision led to Batalionul U23 Dorobanti getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Adrian Isăilă hit a great ball. Clodoveo Christobal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flavio Peter came out and tried to block the shot, but Clodoveo Christobal slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 97th minute. Loco De Remate's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
